Discover the magical world of backyard biodiversity…

This newsletter is an invitation to explore the nooks and crannies of our backyards together, and learn about the plants, animals, and fungi that call it home.

After moving to the rural South Island NZ, I have discovered a WEALTH of wildlife I’d never dreamed of seeing: fairy-like dragonflies to smiling grasshoppers; red-eyed warblers to jet black fantails; and an abundance of moths and butterflies.

So, while I’m not a naturalist or scientist, I am in awe of our unique biodiversity. Through my words and my photographs, this newsletter is our chance to enjoy a sense of wonder together.🦋✨

The nitty gritty…

The free Weekly Wildlife🐛 newsletter is delivered every Saturday morning (NZ time). It’s an opportunity for us to explore one aspect of nature & wildlife together.

Paid subscribers will also get…

  • Occasional member-only posts.

  • Special discounts on products e.g. prints, calendar, books.

  • Warm fuzzies for helping support my time researching and writing.
