Kia ora e hoa - hello my friend,
Thank you so much for coming along on this learning journey with me, as we explore and celebrate the wildlife of Aotearoa together. Whether you are enjoying a free or paid subscription, I appreciate you letting me take a moment of your precious time each week.
A special thanks to all of you who shared and left comments on my last post - it’s so encouraging to know that you’re getting value from my words 🍄✨
It’s been almost three months since I started the Dwindle River Garden Newsletter - can you believe it? While I have always had a healthy curiosity about nature and wildlife, researching and writing this newsletter has brought a new wave of learning which I am always excited to share with you each week.
Changes to the site & free membership trial:
My Weekly Wildlife column is my core offering and will continue to be, but will now be delivered on Saturday morning.
I will no longer be sending out the second paid newsletter on Sundays. Instead, paid subscribers will receive a mini magazine on a monthly basis. You can see my first edition in the post below, and this month's edition is below the paywall.
I’ve added a tag titled Ngā Manu🦅 (birds) which you can see in the navigation menu at the top of your screen. It brings all the posts featuring birds together in one place. We also have The Butterfly Garden for lepidoptera (moths & butterflies).
To celebrate the little-known district I live in, I’ve also added a new section titled ‘Explore Waitaki🏔’ to highlight some of my highlights from the Waitaki District.
If you’d like a taster for the paid sub, hit the button below for a free trial.
Expires 31 July 2023.
Over time, this magazine will no doubt grow, and I am always keen to hear your feedback so don’t hesitate to leave a comment on any post (or hit reply via email) and share your thoughts.
